The University of Missouri System contracts with an outside vendor, CCC Verify, to provide a secure employment and income verification service for current and former UM System employees. Access CCC Verify to receive on-demand employment and income verification.
Verifying Employment and/or Income History
To allow a verifier (e.g., mortgage company representative, social service provider, or potential employer) to verify your employment and/or income history, provide them with your SSN and the CCC Verify website (www.cccverify.com). You can use this printable worksheet to easily provide the verifier with the information and instructions they need. If you are a former employee with a termination date before December 17, 2017, please contact the HR Service Center.
Employee Data Reports
Current employees and eligible former employees may request one free Employee Data Report by visiting CCC Verify’s website. The Employment Data Report shows all the information CCC Verify has in your file at the time of your request.
Pay Checks
Current employees may reprint University pay statements online via myHR via the myPayroll tile.
Access to CCC Verify
Past and current employees may log into the CCC Verify website (exit UM System site) and follow the steps below to get started:
- Select “get started” under the employees tab on the homepage screen. Use the last 4 digits of your SSN as the pin when signing up.
- Authenticate your email address. Once you complete the sign-up requirements you will see a message about being sent an email for confirmation. Be sure to click the link in that email to confirm your identity and complete the signup process. Please check your junk/spam folder if you don’t see the email within 10 minutes of signing up.
- Once you have an account, you can use the system to generate your own verification once each year. Click “Verify Data” on your employee dashboard and complete the steps to instantly verify your employment. You have the option to download the report as a PDF.

What is CCC Verify?
CCC Verify is a convenient, secure automated employment and income history verification system accessible online. It provides accurate and timely employment and income verification for current and former University of Missouri System employees.
Why is the university using CCC Verify?
Employment and income verification is often required for a mortgage application, personal credit approval, pre-employment screening and tenant screening. Using CCC Verify greatly speeds up verification for employees and reduces the cost of HR staff manually retrieving and reporting information.
When do I need to use CCC Verify?
Anytime you need your employment or income verified, such as when you apply for employment, an apartment lease, a loan or mortgage.
What do I need to use CCC Verify?
Requesting proof of employment and/or income is the same whether you are working with a company or a governmental agency. Complete your application document with the lender, landlord, prospective employee or other verifier. To enable employment verification, provide your SSN to the verifier and have them access CCC Verify online at www.cccverify.com. Access a one pager to provide your verifier with instructions.
How do verifiers obtain employment and income information from CCC Verify?
You must provide your SSN to a verifier along with the CCC Verify web address so they can access your employment information.
What if my landlord or lender won’t pay for the verification?
Most verifiers use this or a similar service because it speeds up their process, but if someone refuses to pay, you can log into the system once each year and generate your own verification so you can provide it to whomever you want.
Does CCC Verify give me access to any information?
Yes. Any current or former UM System employee can create an account to:
- Access their own information
- See who has been viewing their information
- Block access
- Provide verification information
- Dispute errors
Users can even set up an automatic email to notify them anytime someone verifies their information.
What do I need to do to set up my own access?
The first time you log in you will be asked to choose a password and for your full social security number and PIN number. Your PIN number is the last four digits of your social security number.
What information is provided for employment verification?
- Work Status
- Job Title
- First Hire Date
- Most Recent Hire/Term Date
- Current Length of Service (based on most recent hire date)
What information is provided for income verification?
- Work Status
- Job Title
- First Hire Date
- Most Recent Hire/Term Date
- Current Length of Service (based on most recent hire date)
- Base Rate of Pay
- Hours per Pay Period (stated on a bi-weekly basis)
- Total of Gross Pay from the last two year and to date for the current calendar year.
What if I have multiple appointments with the university?
The information provided by CCC Verify comes from your primary appointment. Other than employment and income history, what other information is available through CCC Verify? None. CCC Verify provides only your payroll data and employment history. The company never provides a reason for separation.
Is my data secure? Who can access my data?
Your wage data can be accessed only by a person or organization that has your full social security number, a permissible purpose for accessing it, and has been credentialed and authenticated by CCC Verify. Only a few government agencies may access your data without you granting permission.
Other than employment and income history, what other information is available through CCC Verify?
Verification of active medical and dental insurance may be provided for certain social services verification.
What is social services verification?
Various social service agencies manage economic self-sufficiency programs that administer federal, state or local public assistance funds to low-income families and individuals. Eligibility for these programs is determined by an applicant's monthly income. Caseworkers must verify the applicant's employment and income before providing assistance. CCC Verify Social Services Verification helps agency workers determine program eligibility, track program benefits, support quality control and investigate potential fraud.
How current is CCC Verify data?
The system is updated with payroll following the payroll calendars (bi-weekly/monthly).
