Will Express Scripts home delivery automatically substitute generic drugs when ordering brand-name?

Yes. Express Scripts mail-order pharmacies will automatically fill prescriptions with generic equivalents (if available), unless you specifically request the brand-name drug or your doctor has indicated DAW (dispense as written) on the prescription.

Please remember that if you choose to purchase a brand-name drug that has a generic equivalent, you will be charged your generic/brand co-payment, plus the cost difference between the brand and the generic.
