Note from Anselm:   How does this relate to the Grant Records from above? Is this non-funded research? Should they be combined? Again, the archival record from my perspective would be the proposal, the final report, correspondence related to the research itself (not the logistics or fiscal accounting) and any feasibly relevant data or data sample.
